BIRDLAND RETREAT FLORA

Over 30 local plant species have been identified, important for bird habitat and diet. They are predominantly Jarrah, Marri and Bull Banksia which you will see in every direction.

There are also over 40 bird-attracting natives introduced for:

These are mainly Callistemons, Grevilleas & Melaleucas which provide nectar for long periods as the birds quickly adapt to these new treats.
